Shiro is a dwarf, Japanese variety of plum with oval-shaped, golden-yellow plums about 2.5 centimeters in diameter. Shiro plums are bursting with sweet, juicy flavour and very little acidity. They are great for fresh eating, cooking, canning, and dessert. They can also be used to make jam or infused into vodka.
Shiro plum trees are low growing, spreading, and very hardy with attractive white blossoms in spring. Shiro plum trees require a pollinator, which must be another Japanese variety.Size: 10 ft
