Manchurian Apricot
Prunus armeniaca var. mandshurica
Fast growing reaching approx 12' tall and wide, this Apricot is a beautiful edible addition to your landscape stacked with white-light pink spring flowers and orange fall foliage. The golf ball sized juicy fruit are free-stone, making them easy to make perserves and jams with.
Producing fruit in 2-4 years, this tree is moderately drought tolerant, cold hardy and makes an excellent bird habitat and edible hedging/windbreak. A relative of the American native Plum.
