Reaching 3-5' in height and spread. Hinnomaki Red Gooseberry is a high yield producer of delicious tart but sweet dark red fruit. Easy to grow, vigorous and highly disease resistant cultivar.
Beware it does have some thorns, but totally worth it in our opinion. High in Vit A. Great in pies, jams and fresh. Bears fruit in 1-3 years of planting.
