Reaching 3-5' in height and spread. Black Velvet Gooseberry is a high yield producer of dessert quality dark red fruit. Easy to grow, vigorous and highly disease resistant cultivar.

Beware it does have some thorns, but totally worth it in our opinion. High in Vit A. Bears fruit in 1-3 years of planting.
