Sweetest and better fresh of the currants, white currant is a great addition to the perennial garden. Growing up to 3' tall and white. Berries can be eaten fresh, used in perserves or even made into wine.
Grows fine in large containers. Fairly low maintenance. Yearly thinning of shoots 4 years old and up is best to keep good airflow and help encourage new growth and further fruit production.
