  • Stella is a fast-growing and early-blooming cherry tree producing mid-summer, high yields of sweet plump cherries. Its meaty texture do well with canning and freezing. Stella is the very first self-fertile sweet cherry that was developed in British Columbia in 1968. It is very cold-hardy and great for backyard gardeners! Harvest early-mid July.

     

    Soil: pH 6.0-7.0 (slightly acidic to neutral); sandy loam; moist, well-drained

    Exposure: Full Sun

    Pollination: Self-pollinating; Can produce more with other cherries nearby.
