A more refined, sweeter (20% more sugar content) with mild nutty flavour asparagus. Purple Passion's entire stalk is softened when cooked, making the ends quite tender and usable. Quite productive and an excellent addition to the garden.
Takes 2-3 years before significant crop production. Once established will produce well for 10-15 years. All our asparagus plants are male.
